Recycling is the key to a circular economy and, thus, a topic that is very important to us at hubergroup. Of particular relevance to us is, of course, the role that printing inks have in the recycling process. Within the flexible packaging sector, we have teamed up with other companies of the value chain in the project PrintCYC to investigate how we can contribute to better recyclate quality – and we have already learned a lot. For example, we found that the binding agent influences recyclate quality.
